Caryn Onions
Caryn joined OXPIP in 2001 and over the years has been a freelance clinician undertaking clinical work, training and supervision. She is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with a background in child and adolescent mental health. Caryn left the NHS in 2004 to specialise in working with traumatised children in the care system. Her doctoral research focussed on foster carers, and she has written and lectured about parents and their relationships with their infants and children. Caryn is an accredited Video Interaction Guidance practitioner and is registered with the Association of Child Psychotherapists, The Health and Care Professions Council and is a full member of APPCIOS.
